Installation exhibition

For installation artists, this is an opportunity to experiment with their research on Thanh Ha ceramic materials, an exciting reunion to contribute their voices in harmony with the open space of Terracotta Park and Thanh Ha ceramic village artisans.

The pottery village artisans, through their participation in supporting artists in implementing creative ideas, could not hide their surprise and delight when they realized that from rough handfuls of soil, pots, jars, simple shapes such as seeds, lime pots, and even broken pieces of pottery could become materials to express creative ideas in installation art. And not only stopping at surprise and delight, the interaction with the works, the sharing with the authors participating in the creative camp also opened up new perspectives for the world of vision.

Inspired by rice seeds as a metaphor for life and growth, author Bui Hai Son displays the work “Heavenly Rice” as seeds sown from the sky, evoking many ambiguous associations in the viewer. The past, present and future are all contained in the seeds, but whether the seeds of life can grow or not depends on the environment and how people treat and interact with the seeds…

"Street" by Nguyen Hoai Huyen Vu is a continuation of the train of thought about people and living space on Thanh Ha ceramic material.

Through the image of people trapped in stuffy, closed box-shaped houses, the author seems to want to remind us to open our hearts to nature and people...

Viewers can also feel many rich and profound messages from other authors such as: "Heritage" by Hoang Tuong Minh, "Remembering the Sea" by Uyen Huy, "Shining" by Mai Quoc Khanh, "Immigration" by Phan Nhat Phuong, "Keeping Fire" by Tran Viet Hung, "Wine and Glass" by Vu Ha Nam, "Savings" by Nguyen Thanh Tue, "Source of Life" by Nguyen Chi Thanh, "My Hometown" by Le Nhat Thanh.

The open space of Thanh Ha Terracotta Park now not only shines with the rustic, simple terracotta color under the sunlight, but also truly sparkles with the creative ideas of artists from many regions, creating a connection not only between the inside and outside spaces, between the Park space and the cultural space of the craft village, but also contributing to the connection between people and people from the voice of terracotta material.

Thank you to the artists who have been and will continue to help viewers see the sparkling beauty in life around us!
